AssemblyDesign is another work area (It is called "workbench") that CATIA V5 offers. Multiple PartDesign geometries will be inserted and managed here. The beauty of this workbench is that each part created in Part Design can be constrained (fixed, contacted, put together, etc), just like machine parts are assembled. Since Assembly Design (Product) file will have multiple Part files in it, it will use the [Save Management] function in order to save the data. This function manages all of the file names of the Part data, as well as the save directory paths. [Save As] will not be used here for this reason.
